Berry boom, My Backyard, Strathmore, AB, 2026-10-04
If you watched an (older, I guess?) TV show called Fringe, you'd remember that one of the protagonists liked a cereal called Berry Boom. He really wanted Frankenberry, a cereal I had myself as a kid, but which was no longer sold. Anyhow, watching the robin with its berry today reminded me of the cereal. This is mainly because the berries on this tree have gone boom. This was one of the few intact clusters this morning. This evening, it's gone. They all are. The tree is stripped.
